If you've never met Ron, you're missing out. He's been waving the full
size
Pontiac banner before the GTO was even a glimmer in the eye of Jim
Wangers! He's
been up to his elbows in Pontiacs and Station wagons --and Pontiac
station
wagons(!) -- for decades. I met him (nearly) by accident 10 years ago.
I was
driving my 64 Grand Prix by a shop with a killer 66 Bonny wagon parked
in the
lot. I slammed on my brakes before even checking my mirror! After
pulling in,
this unassuming fella that didn't know me from Adam, spent 45 minutes
talking
about our Pontiacs, POCI, models of Pontiacs, parts of Pontiacs...you
name it!
We've been close friends ever since!
