My 69 Grand Prix just arrived from Washington through Kansas. An awesome, rust-free, original paint car with no interior/motor/tranny that will be my new hot rod. The plans for the yellow 70 were thrown out the window as it's just too nice an original car to modify. It would be a shame to do so. I really don't want to spend the next two months disassembling and painting the 70 for re-sale as I want to dive into the new 69.
Here's what I'm putting out there: $2500 70 GP three years ago. $900 complete rebuild of rear-end. $1700 removal of all quarter panel rust thru and area on panel between backlight and decklid. The rust was minimal but I had TriPower Automotive completely restore any area with rust with completely new, hand-fabbed new metal. These guys do Bloomington Vettes and the $7.5 million Cobra Daytona. Expensive but worth it. $200 new brakes and fresh wheel studs. $300 new Edelbrock Performer carb. $5600 in it so far. PS, PB, PW, A/C, CD disk changer (have never figured out how to work it), 400 4bbl, TH400, dual exhaust, really nice chrome and bumpers, everything works but A/C. There are still a couple of tiny areas where the vinyl top trim attaches that have pinholes, a spot on the hood and the lower fenders are rusted through. I have a pair of awesome rust-free fenders that I paid $300 for if a party was interested. The interior is very nice. A seam area near the driver's left shoulder is coming open and a few minor cracks in the console. The dash and door panels are AWESOME and those are the panels that are impossible to find. The car runs and drives beautifully. The motor was supposedly rebuilt by the Pontiac Dealership Tech at the Pontiac dealership the prior owner worked at. Has a drip at the rear main seal. Needs an upper rear control arm bushing but I have a replacement control arm from a real 69 Judge to replace it with (doesn't make it worth any more, just interesting is all!). Has Rally IIs and wide BFGs. Dual exhaust. Awesome floors, frame and trunk. No rattles, squeaks, etc. Nice, tight car. Asking $3600 which is a firm price of $2k in the red. Note that I have since removed the vinyl top and started to block out the body. I could possibly help out with storage too. If there is no interest, I'm just going to "suede" it in black and try to get $4500 or so. It's such a nice, tight, reliable car it would be great to keep it around. For me to make money on it, I'd have to pull everything off and give it a 3 month, $3000 paint job with me doing all the work and I'd still likely be breaking even at best.

For Sale:
The 1973 Bonneville 4 door hardtop is white with a red interior. The dash, seats, door panels and headliner are all useable. The carpet and parcel shelf is really not any good. The hood, decklid, rad support, inner fenders front bumper are all OK. The engine runs and is unmolested. 400 2bbl./thm 375, open standard rear axle. A/C is complete and intact. Car has rear window (blower) defogger, I suspect it is an added piece. Floor pan is not good. Red dash is good but has a 1975 digital clock and bezel mounted to it.

The green 1974 Grandville is better than it looks. I have the interior disassembled as I was picking the best between the two cars as I restore mine. The floor pan is very nice and is equipped with 60/40 seat track mounts. I was under the car extensively on Sunday, and there are no holes in the floor that I could find. The trunk floor needs a repair at l/h body mount #6 otherwise is fair. Trunk floor extensions are poor. The doors, deck lid, hood, inner front fenders, rad support are all very useable. The front outer fenders are repairable. The quarter panels are really bad around where the fender skirt brackets used to be. Outer wheel houses are gone as well. Green dash is not good. Car is equipped with 60/40 power drivers seat, power windows, AM 8 track stereo - original Delco, tilt, cruise rally mirrors. Transplanted Olds 403 4 bbl, probably the original TH400 trans. The derby boys have gotten to me and want these cars real bad. I don't want them to get them. I have a whole bunch of extra parts to with the car if interested. I have some 1973 specific, 1974 specific, some both applications of NOS leftovers, some nice used, and of course some stuff that isn't real good. I have clear titles to both and both run enough to drive onto a trailer. The '74's doors are rust and plastic free. Too good to destroy. I will part the cars out if there is enough interest in the pieces, but the piece price will end up being more than the buy it as a whole car price. Thanks

I put a set of 15" ralley two wheels on it,but I have the original 14" wheels and hubcaps to go back on the car. The car is complete and ready for restoration or with a little engine work would make a cool driver. Floor pans are solid, trunk floor has two holes about the size of dimes. 1964 Grand Prix is unbelievably well preserved condition. This is an Arizona car with no rust whatsoever. Many more pictures of this exceptional original car are available at www.azcarsandtrucks.com It even has original factory air conditioning that still works. I have owned this car for about 20 years. When I bought it, we put new shocks on it and took it on old car tours around Arizona. Recently, the carburetor was professionally rebuilt and a new OEM type fuel pump was installed. That's all we ever had to do to the car in all that time. It runs and drives like it did in the 60s. I hate to see it go, put could now use the garage space for other interests. $15,750

Wanted to buy - 1962-1964 GP or 1965-1966 Catalina 2+2 I am considering all leads, but do prefer a running car. I'm located up in Ontario (Canada) and am willing to travel for the 'right' car. Numbers matching is preferable, (at least the major components like the block, heads, and trans) the rest is not as important. Restoration candidates (i.e. not running) - as long as they are mostly complete cars. I would like to entertain all possible leads, so please email me at amkinal@yahoo.com or kinala@rogers.com or you can call 416-231-8637 e.s.t.

"NEW LOWER PRICE"

hrjmmo_1@juno.com
1968 Catalina 2 door hardtop, all original, in fair to good shape, rebuilt 400cid engine, th4000 3sp auto transmission, all numbers matching, 190K, new front end parts, epoxy treated gas tank, new radiator, . This car has been in our family for 34 years. My father-in-law bought it from the original owner about 1972 and sold it to my wife and I 25 years ago. It has served me as a spare car on occasion, but there have been long periods when I only started it once a month to keep everything working. The VIN is 252878P124285. While my father-in-law owned the car, he rebuilt the front end and did body work. Like him, I have concentrated on keeping the car safe to drive for the times when my wife and daughter have needed to drive it. Over the years, I have worked to maintain the car mechanically including a rebuild of the engine. The body work that I have done has been primarily to keep rust from taking hold. I believe that the body is in fair condition and that the mechanical systems are in good condition. I enjoy driving the Catalina, and I believe that it is a prime candidate for restoration. My price is $2295. That includes $1300 for my stockpile of hard-to-find spare parts. Contact Bob for details at 419-518-1232 or hrjmmo_1@juno.com. The car is located in NE Indiana.

killerbob33@aol.com
I have recently purchased a 1965 2+2 convertible, along with an unbelievable parts car. The package can be sold "as-is" or as a finished car.First the 2+2: 1965, delivered to Alabama new and remained there until three years ago. LOADED. 338 horse 421, Turbo 400 trans, factory air COMFROTRON (super rare in any full-sized Pontiac), PS, PB, P seat, P trunk, P antenna, reverb, rear seat speaker, buckets & console. Car has been PHS'd and has SPEC for the paint code. The car is currently painted 1965 yucky teal color with black interior & top. The interior is driver quality. In removing original weather-strip to see the base color, I discovered the car to be ORANGE! Hiway Dept. truck ORANGE! The color was not specified on the build sheet. The original 421 is long gone and a smoking 389 makes the car a somewhat driver. However, a DONE 376 horse 65 421 engine (YK) comes with the car. The carbs for the 3-2 setup have been dyed correctly. The car has some bondo in the rear quarters, but does not seem to have any rust. The trunk floor is good. The pot metal chrome trim is pitted. The person I got the car from had purchased a 1965 Catalina convertible parts car that had been wrecked in 1966 with just 1,700 miles on the speedo! The car had been stored inside here in Minnesota for 30+ years! It is unbelievable! The car should have been fixed, but wasn't. (maybe it should be fixed?) The front end, engine-trans, dash pad & left door are long gone. The right front floor is rusted from incorrect outside storage however the rest of the car is MINT, including the complete set of 8 bolt wheels on original basis tires! Of course, the trick here is to remove the quarters & 8 bolts and install on the 2+2. The trunk floor is already promised to my 66 2+2 convertible, so it will not go with the car. Other parts that come with the package are as follows:correct 1965 tach and rally gauge dash, a pair of rust free ARIZONA doors and front fenders (just in case!) and some NOS trim. I bought the package to either resell or do and then resell. I am not a fan of 65's, just 64's and 66's.This car is beyond rare and deserves a kick ass restoration. The 2+2 comes with a Minnesota title. The parts car does not have a title. I am open for offers to include cash and/or cool 64 or 66 trades. Cars are located in the Twin Cities area. Photos will be available soon. Please contact Les Kasten at 651-423-7358 evenings CST or email me at the above address.

I have a very solid '62 Catalina 4-door sedan for sale if anyone is
interested. It's a Texas car with hardly any rust, it ran very smoothly
when I parked it (September of '99). All it needs is a tranny (it has a
Slim Jim now) , the front passenger door has a dent in it (I have a spare
door) and the driver's side of the front seat needs upholstered. It also
needs the new master cylinder that I bought for it to be installed. It's in
storage in the Omaha, Nebraska area. I'd like to sell this car and buy
another Poncho with the proceeds. Right now I don't have the time or the
money to fix it. This car with a new tranny and a few minor repairs would
make a nice driver. I'd be glad to part with it for around $2,000 OBO.
Anyone interested can email me at eric-wead@memphis-group.com or phone at
